Collective action…. Milaap ??

These days the PRM 30 batch is busy working for Milaap. The people are directly or indirectly involved in the preparations. It is another event whose responsibility lies on the batch. Many other people are also involved to make this event possible. Can this be called collective action of the batch or of a group of people focused to make this event possible?

I think that it is a collective action. When we call people for volunteer for their help some turn up despite being in no committee assigned. The people are working considering the event as their own.
Though there is a concentration of people who are directing the works but the majority is helping and hence it can be called as a collective action.

it is undoubtedly a collective action of all those people who in sum way or the other are chipping in and helping in making things take a concrete shape.
i think what really unites everyone here is the sense of belongingness....we all are from one batch and when the reputation of the batch comes into picture it amalgamates everyone.

obviously it is. even if we look at it in a narrow sense, it has most of the qualities in it to be a collective action. people (committees) coming together, free rider enjoying the benefits. and other things as well

No doubt milaap is a collective action....it is not a collective action of our batch but of the larger group. The larger group includes the alumni ,IRMA community ,faculty, participants and all those people who helped us like residents of Anand who helped us in organising Anand Run and other events...
