The global warming ruckus!! all myth or some truth!!

The current imbargo about the projections allover the world about the global warming being nothing but an exaggerated story of environmentalists seeking funds for their research has put a question mark on the future of initiative like copenhagen and kyoto protocol regarding saving planet earth. It has also lead to loss of credibility of big names in the fields like our own nobel prize winner Mr. CK Pachauri and his institute. The citizens of the world deserve an explanation from all those involved about the actual reality and for separating truth from myth.

I guess though the figures put up by Mr. Pachauri and co could be a bit exaggerated, The threat of Global Warming isn't. The contribution of CO2 in increasing the earths temperature is a proven fact and excess emissions will cause an increase in temperature now or later. Moreover, the larger issue of environmental degradation has a lot more to it than just global warming!

I believe that the main issue is related to LPG i.e. liberalization, privatization and globalization. After LPG, One side govt. is opting for more and more industrialization which itself creates pollution resulting in global warming. On the other side govt is planning to reduce the pollution. It is just like govt is giving leverage to pvt. companies to sell more and more cigarette to maximize revenue rather than banning it while other side it is bothering about health issue of the people.
THE main question - what to do so that there will a WIN-WIN situation for pvt. party, govt. and public?
