As pointed out by the FES representative today, there may be times when there is a collective action and another collective action props up opposing it. The rural people of Udaipur district initiate a collective to oppose the over exploitation of water from their area to cater to the city and the city dwellers also form a collective demanding water, cropping up a BIG issue. Both are fighting for rational reasons but in the end one group benefits at the cost of the other.
What can be done NOW???
