Means or ends???

William Shakespeare said,"All's well that end well". So, of all the cases in the world the end of everything decides weather it is good or bad. If some one have to achieve success in life, one have fix the goal and accordingly.
But by taking values, morals, ethics into account and count it more towards the spritual way then means definitely becomes the important factor. It's natural for everyone to look back at where they came from and want to show their struggles. This justifies the importance of means.
'True god is never acheived by the doing of evil"

Ends are generally abstract in nature and undefined, but the means are generally related to the worldly affairs and can easily be defined.
Some of the times means itself becomes the ends, which nullifies the mission.

End is generally perceived to be a very different thing away from our actions. But actually i feel that it is accumulation of means. It is said that if you sow thorns you cannot get fruits. So there is nothing seprate as end or means, rather end is a bigger or accumulated mean.

Many are of the opinion that the process is more important than the goal. Here the means play a vital role. It is only through ethical and moral means can we move ahead and prosper in the long run. The result of use of unethical means for short term gains is evident from what happened to Satyam, Worldcom and Enron
