Everything is ethical????

'Ethics ethics everywhere, not an ethical example in sight..' first rule to justify, second rule to justify....nineth rule to justify and god knows which rule to justify. one wonders after studying all these 'rules' whether there is something called ethical left or not. if each and every action has a reason then i wonder if we can pronounce any one guilty at all for 'each one will teach one'. Nazi war criminals at Nuremberg had a reason to plead not guilty too!!!

something at point is ethical but same thing at another time and place become unetical. eating of dog meat is ethical in NAGALAND but not etical at another place in INDIA.

"Does the end justify the means?" is meaningless as it stands;the real and only question regarding the ETHICS of means and end is, and always has been, "Does this particular end justify this particular means?"

Ethics can be refered to well base standards of right and wrong that prescribe what humans ought to do, usually in terms of rights, obligations, benefits to society, fairness, or specific virtues.

Being ethical is not the same as doing "whatever society accepts." In any society, most people accept standards that are, in fact, ethical. But standards of behavior in society can deviate from what is ethical. An entire society can become ethically corrupt. Nazi Germany was a good example of a ehically corrupt society.

I guess all societies have set a bar forthemselves (norm ,if u like it) and they have done it because it cant be free for all every time..
we are looking at one messy situation if everyone starts coming up with an explanation of their own making for justifying their actions.

Being unethical and admitting to being one, then, is much better than being one and covering it up with I-AM-WHAT-I-AM attitude..
