naxalbari movement
naxalbari movement was initially started against the landlords to give back the peasants their land . but the movement lost its momentum in the due course and assumed a radical nature. today the naxalism which prevails throughout the country is taking a toll on the people.the tribal have assumed a bad state and the suppression by the state has resulted in greater loss than the benefits. so what were the reasons for the failure of his collective action? was his collective action for the good?

Naxalism from its genesis was a radical left movement. The bad shape of tribal is not because of Naxalism but sadly, despite naxalism.
Ideas never fail.
Other than their cost increasing more than benefit the other reason has been the lack of effective leadership. Also naxalism has dragged on too long and thus the participant has lost interest. Further it involves the participants incurring losses and thus they cannot enjoy the movement.
