Cooperation

Would a prefix "Co" to the word operation justifies the term Cooperation and there by collective action? This question flashes to my mind when I think about simple things that happen around us where many of us either consciously or unconsciously overlook at them. For instances, a student who has been working hard o get a good score in the exam from a long time shares all he has got with his friends just before the day of exam. As a result all of them score well. Is this a collective action or a Cooperation extended from the one who knew it? In a village, every morning a school going kid reads the newspaper loud and almost the entire village is listening to him. The school kid is creating awareness and the knowledge is collectively being recieved by the villagers. Is this again Cooperation? And these kind of examples are endless in our own daily lives.

I think Cooperation is highly possible only when there is a common thing/attitude/belief among the set of people. In both the above mentioned examples there were 2 sets of people who were unaware of the respective things and this paved way for a collective learning which is an action. But why did the hard working student and the school going kid were putting in efforts for a collective action?

I conclude by saying that the spirit of Cooperation comes from within an individual where the key is influencing people by informing, with many other things added.

Now, I have informed all you people what I have thought !
