I couldn’t help myself appreciating Aamir Khan’s excellent performance in 3 Idiots. It also reminded me of one of his earlier movies Lagaan and how it depicted co-operative action between the villagers who were otherwise divided on various issues. The action was to fight against the tyranny of the Britishers who underestimated the power of collective action. This could be seen as an excellent example of an authoritative power exploiting the powerless masses and leaving them with no other option than to take collective action against this exploitation. Kudos Aamir for portraying Bhuvan as authentic as it could have been!!!
