Self Interest Vs COllective interest

@Ahmad

This is a classic example of self interest dominating the collective interest thereby proving Popkin's theroy. But if we try to analyse any of the events where self interest takes the driver's seat we find that invariably the decision had been irrational and not based on any long term vision. And again when any such decision is made it doesn't give the optimal solution. But its human nature to reap the gains that is in sights than to wait so that the gain could be more and reach more number of fellow beings. Somebody has righty said" Life gives us two choices to make , the one we should and the other we do"
