CHARACTER BUILDING BY POLITICIANS

Politicians give their names and support to many movements and dharnas so as to gain popularity and garner votes and support. There is no sense in them whether they are supporting collective action or they are just gaining publicity because all dharnas are not significant and moreover there is a dharna for every other occasion and these acts of hunger strikes and bandhs have become a very common sight these days.don't you think that these acts dilute the effectiveness of collective action and that the very essence of cooperation is lost in the chaos??

I totally agree with the fact that these dharnas have become a common sight nowadays and hence the effectiveness associated is lost. Instead of overdoing dharnas, if differential level of action taking is adopted by people together, it might help more in bringing up issues. Collective innovation in terms of ways of protest is required here.
