Collective actions & cooperation in human differ from animals - Humans are conscious beings and aware of themselves because they always exist in a dialectical relationship between determination of limits and their own freedom. Human beings overcome the limit situations- a situation which limit their freedom.
On the other hand animals lack the ability to exercise limit acts and thus do not distinguish between themselves and the world. When animals produce a nest, a hive, they are not creating products which result from limit acts. An animal's product belongs immediately to its physical body, while men freely confront his product.
