Collective political violence involves destructive attacks by groups within a political community against its regime, authorities,or policies. It has become a common phenomena of present-day world. The question that why collective political violence occurs ,became an important one since 1960.
The other phenomena like-process of revolution, issues of prudent actions by authorities and rebels, problems of post-revolutionary rule have waxed and waned. But,the issue of "etiology" is the problem on which theoretical approaches now differ most, especially if we include in it the problem of why political violence takes different forms. The solution of this problem will have important repercussions for all others.

Political violence is but means for achieving a romanticised end.No violence will go unopposed and oppressed will ,if they live to fight another day, return to avenge their eye with an eye.Caste violence witnessed in Bihar and U.P., then, is manifestation of years of feud used diligently by ruling classes of the time to further their causes. So, I think no violence can be spread if the cause of retribution/societal good/revenge is not espoused.
