According to Henry Mintzberg cooperation in any organisation can be achieved through Ideology which comes from culture, uniqueness, vision etc of that organisation. It is the binding factor that unites the organisation.
Assume our country as an organisation, the same Ideology binds us together amidst the diversity. We call it "UNITY IN DIVERSITY" with pride.
But this ideology works great when there is some external threat like war or natural disaster. It disapperars as soon as the external threat ends and we face situations like North Vs. Marathi Manoos, Telangana Vs Andhra and so on.
Why is it so??????????

Here i think it can be explained by indoctrination. From our childhood we are indoctrinated about the nation through examples from history, that's why we united when it comes to our nation's security. In regional or clashes also the so called leaders use the same tactic to fulfill their means though its impact is temporary.
