murder of leader who believes in collective action is murderd by collective action

62 years to the day when he fell to the assassins’ bullets, Gandhi achieved in death what he could not in life i.e. put an end to one of the worst communal massacres in history. The men who killed him came together for a simple purpose of avenging the partition but little did they or anyone since have realized that killing him in bone and flesh or vilification serves no purpose but keeps the flame of hatred burning. Gandhi has died million deaths since in Ahmedabad,Meerut,Delhi,Bhagalpur,Mumbai,Godhra and list sadly continues....

Gandhi can die but not Gandhism, He lives in his philosophies and thoughts....

Hard luck for assassinator, they cant kill thoughts.

Gandhi lives in each of us. All we need is to believe.

Moreover... poor Mr Gandhi, chanted "non-violence" throughout his life and when he died, we published his photo on something which triggers most of the violences. (currency notes)

Rightly said, But then we have to be the change we want to see in the society.

Gandhi and Gandhism can never die. Now, it is upto us how do we carry forward the light that Gandhi showed us.
There have been numerous interpretations of Gandhi and his philosophies. You can interpret him in your own way. If you see his photo on money as source of violence, than a group of people will see his imprint on something which brings happiness to one and all!

Two things are well said by Suyash:
"Gandhi lives in each of us. All we need is to believe."

and

" we have to be the change we want to see in the society."
