True Leadership emerges inside a person when he is thrown out of his comfort zone. It may happen due to crisis situation, scarcity situation or sometimes when the dignity and self respect of the person is challenged.
The best example is M. K. Gandhi. If he had not been thrown out of the first class compartment of the train in South Africa, the world might not have seen a great leader like him. Similar is the case with Abraham Lincon. If there had not been scarcity in his initial days, he might not have emerged as a leader.
