MILK CO-OPERATIVES IN GUJARAT.

Today the elections in the local district level milk cooperatives are getting more attention than the assembly or General elections. The various groups in the cooperative are informally representing the two major political parties of the state. And what we see in the print media that the amount of money spent to fight elections has increased significantly which shows the desperation on the part of members to gain the control over the cooperatives. Although the work done has been great but still the influence of politics has increased significantly which might affect the success of co-operatives in long run.
